Enchanted Woodland Photography

We had such a magical time on the last Enchanted Woodland Weekend we held in September, I would just like to share this message we have received from a very happy mum...........

“Hello just wanted to say many thanks again for the beautiful photos, there are now framed taking pride of place on my living room wall and will be something I can keep forever and as the kids grow up something we can all look back on. They are something completely original and like Ive never seen before and you have captured them beautifully, and they are totally magical, I am so pleased with them, shame I couldn’t buy them all, thank you again.

Craftsman qualification.

This is just one image from my panel of 20 images that I submitted to The Guild of Professional Photographers and I'm pleased to announce that I have been awarded the qualification of Craftsman

The qualification is not just about the work that I have submitted but also about how I operate my business, deal with clients, customer service etc, the qualification is a live qualification which means my work will be monitored and the qualification can be withdrawn if I do not maintain my current standards.

Charlotte on location.

Out and about Portrait Photography near Clacton on Sea Essex with the lovely Charlotte, we started off in Great Holland Pits (An Essex Wildlife Trust Reserve), we then moved on to the stables of a friend of Charlotte's where we got some great images of Joe (Sharon's horse) and Charlotte, and then finally we moved onto Weeley Essex where we found a field of Oilseed Rape in full bloom and again we got some great images of Charlotte in amongst the Oilseed Rape. All in all we had a great Portrait Photography Session so a big thank you to Charlotte, to Sharon (and her horse Joe), and to Vicky (hair and make-up).

Monochrome Portraiture.

There is something timeless about monochromatic portrait photography especially black and white, wether the image was taken in the studio as was the above image or out and about in the streets on location.

The above image is one of many beautiful monochrome portraits that we created in a recent portrait photography session with the lovely Charlotte.

Engagement Photography Session.

When clients are booking one of our Wedding Photography Options in Essex or Suffolk with us and we go over what their expectations are and what our expectations are of not only of their Wedding day but of the whole experience and the build up to their Wedding, and more often than not they are looking for ways in which they can enhance their overall wedding experience, one way to enhance the Wedding experience is to book an Engagement Photography Session.

Rachel and Iain on their Engagement Photography Session in Castle Park, Colchester, Essex.

Why book an Engagement Photography Session?

Well, the cynics may claim that this is just another way for your photographer to get more money from you, but here at Photography by Anson we feel the cynic is missing the whole point of an engagement session, it is not there to get more money from you but it is there for education and of course the experience.
Education, whoose education? you may well be asking, well it's the education of both the photographer and the happy couple, the photographer learns about the couple, their likes and dislikes etc and the couple get to learn about the photographer, the way the photographer works and how they communicate etc and get an opportunity to see what it feels like to be photographed, as strange as it may seem most people are daunted by the thought of having their pictures taken by a stranger and very few people are totally relaxed in front of a camera, and this is where the Engagement Photography Session really comes into its own, it helps to break down any barriers between the photographer and the couple, so on their wedding day they are more relaxed than they would have been without the Engagement Photography Session.
So if you are getting married in the not too distant future and you have not yet booked an Engagement Photography Session then you may well be missing out on an experience that you'll not only remember for a long time but you'll also be missing an opportunity to add something special to the build up to your wedding.
Contact us today to find out more about our Engagement Photography Sessions in Essex, Suffolk and the surrounding areas and other services that we provide.
