This is the last day of Chathurthi festival where Lord Ganesh is immersed into the sea so as his followers believe he will be able to return to his parents at Mount Kailash. As the first day of Chathurthi is celebrated to mark his arrival to Earth. Overall the celebration of Ganesh Chathurthi also denotes the significance of the cycle of birth, life and death.

A quick trip across the river this morning to Felixstowe and Landguard Fort, a lovely sunny day but bitterly cold in the wind, so great to be out and about, here you can see the container ships MSC Aurora and Pengalia at The Port of Felixstowe dockside being unloaded and loaded.
